Is it possible to use Active Directory authentication to connect to a Filemaker database with ODBC? Does anything special need setup for this?

Well, the FM files need to be opened for ODBC. You could use External Authentication for user access, with the users/groups set up in Windows.

I have the databases setup to allow odbc access with an external group. External accounts don't seem to be working, though. Is there something special that needs to be done on the server or client to allow this?

According to Filemaker tech support, ODBC does not support external authentication. The documentation while cryptic, seems to contradict this. Has anyone been able to get this to work?
