Is there any way to prevent a text field from wrapping? This would simplify a situation in which I use text to display data in a simulated graphical format.

In a word - No. Use either the "LeftWords(" or "Left(" Functions to display the number of words, or the number of characters for your line. You will need to experiment to figure out which function, and how many of words/characters work for you.
