Hello, new to FM and stuck early in the game...

I have created a table that has a listing of 167k records detailing property ownership in my city (owner name, address...). I also have another table the same size detailing each home's information, such as size, bedrooms, etc... The common field between them is the parcel number. I would simply like to be in one file, and hit a button to take me directly to the related record in the other table and I just can't figure it out.

I have tried a script, and relationships and portals, keep hitting a wall.

You need a relationship from parcel# in the people file to parcel# in the home info file. A 'Go To Related Record' script step will take you from one file to the the other along that relationship.
