Hi,

I need to know this thing. If I use FMP Developer, I'll able to create a runtime application that works whitout installing Filemaker on the client?

And, I may create the runtime applications for Windows, using FM Dev on Mac OS X?

Thanks in advance

Yes the runtimes will open the files that are 'embedded' without needing FM Pro on the client. But a runtime can not open networked files so it is strictly single-user only.

No, you need to create the runtime on Windows for Windows users.

However do you need VPC or a genuine PC preferebly with XP running, there might even be issues with the SP2 is required!!

Hi Soren,

Based on observations to date this does not appear to be the case. Ie runtimes which are generated on SP1 run on SP2 machines and vice-versa.

This rules out one suspicion, as to why quicktime inserts makes a bound solution crash - Thank you! ...but then again, its my friend that have this problem not me, he bound his solution on win98 and have suddently started to recieve complaints from XP users.
