Freeze portal scrolling

Hi all,

I was wonder if anyone has any suggestions to this problem I've encountered. Perhapse the solution to this is rather simple, please point me to a direction. Thank you for any inputs to this matter.

I am working with 3 selection portals - A, B, and C. Each built on the relationship base on global fields equal to a row that was click in the other portals. For examples, when user clicks on a row in A, a global field is set to equal to the value of that row then B portal is populated base on the relationship to that global field. Same method is done so C portal is populated base on the row clicked in B.

Each portals has 15 rows on the layout. Some of these portals has more rows then it could show on the layout. Therefore, user would have to scroll down to get to the other records. The problem is that when user scrolled down and select a row, the portal will immediately scroll all the way back to the top. Is there anyways to freeze it, so the portals do not scroll back to the top?!

Thanks,

Hi Tony,

This question comes up from time to time, I just did a search of "All Forums" using

+fixed +Portal

Type, or Copy or Paste +fixed +Portal just as you see it above into the search engine for both Subject and Body. It provided 190 hits.

There also a few examples files out there, if you don't see them mentioned, come back.
