Inserting a link to a Word doc in a field

Hi

Someone ages ago told me I could insert a link to a Word file in a field, so linking a particular file to a record, but I can't remember how it was done. Does anyone have a clue?

Hi Charlotte,

I did a search for (+" word " +" link " +FileMaker) and came up with 45 hits, among which was this recent Thread. Attaching a MS word document

If this thread, or one of the others found using:

+" word " +" link " +FileMaker

let us know.

BTW, be sure to enter, or copy, the search as I have posted it, Remove the 1 in Weeks, and be sure you are searching "All Forums"
