Hello,

I'm a newbie to this post and to filemaker pro and i recently ran into some problems. I have a database called prices and my master record called dailyjobs2004 and i lost the relationship between both. I have a field called plan#, labor, material, and cost which whenever i typed in a plan# in the master record it would automatically pull labor, material and cost from the prices database. I think the relationship got lost when the power when out and our server went down. I have tried to fix it but have gotten nowhere. Can somebody please help me.

Thanks,

Desperate newbie

When the power went out, what happened to the file? Was it properly closed? If not, opening it would cause Filemaker to "Recover" the file, which is always worrisome. Some, including myself, would never use a file that required a Recover as it could have corruption. Try to revert to a backed up copy, even if it means losing some data! The file could be corrupted, as you are seeing now, and will only get worse with time, and then you could lose much data.
