Charles Fowler Posted November 27, 2000 Posted November 27, 2000 I need to be able to import from a text file into a repeating field - I know I can use tab, for example, to separate field entries, return to indicate a new record. What do I use to separate items going into repeating fields? Thanks, ------------------ Charles Fowler [email protected]

What do I use to separate items going into repeating fields? Start by NOT using repeating fields. I am nearly positive that you really want related data. Thus create some related files to store the data. It is not possible to import into or export out of a repeating field. ------------------ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Kurt Knippel Consultant Database Resources mailto:[email protected] http://www.database-resources.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
