I have a field called route-to that enables any user to route a message to another user. I'd like to create a portal so that shows all messages routed to the account name logged in.

I thought I could do this with a global field calcuation Get(AccountName) that would be liked to the route-to field in the relationship defining the portal.

Works great when only one person is logged in, but when another user logs in the global field switches to their AccountName and everyone's portal switches to see that user's messages.

Ideas? Much thanks!

just realized the joys of non-global calculation fields that don't store their content. problem solved!
