michele Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Maybe this question has been asked before but the Google search only gives me 4 results searching on 'theme'. Here's the question, how do you make themes in fmp6? In fmp 5 there was the themes folder with the .fth files but how does it work in fmp6. Where are the theme files and where do I find information about making my own theme. Thank you for reading and eventually answering this question.
Reed Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 They're still there... they hide inside the Filemaker Pro.app file (folder) You can get into the package using terminal. The path is Filemaker.app/Contents/MacOS/Themes The Filemaker Developer User Guide (available on filemaker.com) has instructions for modifying these XML files.
michele Posted December 17, 2004 Author Posted December 17, 2004 Thanks Reed for your answer. Unfortunately filemaker doesn't have the pdf fmp6 developers guide online anymore. Been searching for it on the web but...no result. Is there anybody out there who has this pdf file? Thank you for reading and eventually answering this question.
Lee Smith Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Hi michele, This file may be of help to you: Theme Creator 2.0 By: Beverly Voth http://www.fmfiles.com/dev7.html There are two files there, but I think the other one is no long supported, but it was a little easier to use the last time I tried them.
