December 17, 200421 yr I have a Quote Form with a portal to the Quote Line Items (FM7). I need to print the finished quote and send to the customer. I understand that printing the portals from the Quote Form is not a good idea. What's the best way to do this keeping in mind that the customer's shipping information and other pertinent data from the Quote Form needs to be printed along with the Quote Line Items? I'm sure there is a common, simple solution from you seasoned developers!
December 17, 200421 yr Print from the line item table. Use the relationship from the line item table to the quote table to get customer information. You can use the Go To Related Record (Show only related) to select the records to be printed.
December 17, 200421 yr Author Thanks, Ralph. Would I do a columnar list/report layout for the line items and put the related customer info in the header? Or is there a better way? -Scott
