Printing sliding repeating fields with borders

Featured Replies

Ok, I need a Filemaker rep to maybe answer this if possible, hmm not probable confused.gif.

There is a Purchase Order database that has two layouts setup. One is for data entry and the other is for printing. The layouts contain fields for "id, description, quantity, unit of measure, price, price unit, and extended amount" these are all fields that repeat 50 times on each layout. They are designed to have borders (left, bottom, top and between repetitions) as well as sliding up (based on all above, with reduce the size of the enclosing part checked). This worked fine in version 6 and now after the conversion the lines will not print in alignment, they step down the page. Is there a solution other than to remove the lines all together. For those over 40 it becomes quite a task to visually align things without those visual aids.... crazy.gif

So, in order to get this to print without the stupid stepped lines I have removed all borders. Is Filemaker going to fix all of these issues I am seeing? and there seems to be a lot.

What specific update of 7 do you have? Maybe version 7.03 has fixed your problem.

I had the same problem with sliding and printing. Getting the version 3 update solved my problems.
