I am fairly new to Filemaker and looking for a suggestion of a book that explains calculations and scripts in PLAIN English. Most of the things I have seen assume you are familiar with the syntax and functions of calculations and things like that. I have everything Filemaker which is very good but I find it hard to interpret thing like the calculations without knowing the details of what each of them can do. Thank you.

Have you tried the Help that comes with FMP? I can't recommend a book for FMP6 since I haven't read any of them.
