FMS-7 Admin: no connect over Internet

[Mac OS X 10.3.6] Ports 5003, 50003, 50006 are open; both ends. Remote Administration is enabled in Server setup. Able to see the database from FMP via Internet. Looking at the same IP from Server Admin gets

Nothing, it seems to be a bug. If you connect through VPN then you can administer remotely without a problem.

Thank you Wim. I hope FileMaker, Inc. is embarrassed about this and will fix it on the next rev.

I also just posted about this issue, and have not had any luck accessing the FMP 7 server remotely. Here is a link to my post, in case an answer shows up. Just wanted you to know you are not alone in your frustration.
