Table Help

Featured Replies

I need to know how to do a table where it displays the field name I have typed and not the actual fild name. I have did a table for a monthly billing sheet at my company. The first Table has all the right names all the rest cay copy since they are duplicates I just want it to use the name I gave it.

I'm afraid that your question isn't exactly clear, but I think you want to display a field on a layout, but give it a label that is different from the field name. This, if it's what you want, is actually very common. Simply double-click the field label and give it whatever label you want. For instance, I never use spaces in my field names, so I might have a field called "FirstName", but on the layout that the user sees, I give it a label of "First Name".

If I'm not understanding your question correctly, let me know.

Thanks,

Chuck

OK this a the table.

January table

nc |customer |a |b |c |d |e |f |N |S

February table

nc copy | customer copy| a copy|

I want to make feburary look like january the field labels are not displayed only what ever the field is named! See the field Label tag is correct so that is what I want it to put up for colum name not the field name.

In table view you cannot change the field labels.
