Two label printing questions

Question 1: I have a variety of Avery labels (they are at work and I'm not, so I don't have the numbers). None of them appear in the FileMaker label list. Most of them are not on 8.5 X 11 sheets but are on smaller sheets (like 4X6 or so). Is there a way to set this custom size? I can put the label size in the custom area but FileMaker will assume that they are on bigger sheets.

Question 2: Most of the time I don't need a full (8.5 X 11) sheet of labels printed. In fact, I might only need 5-10 at a time. This seems like a very wasteful way to operate. How do I re-use the sheets and get the labels to print where there are still labels left on the sheet? (I know there are special label printers but that is not an option here - I need a solution within FileMaker if possible).

Thank you for your suggestions.

I created a very simple database, two fields, one that is a number called Line, another that is text called Label. Then create as many records as labels on a sheet, with the Line incrementing by 1. The user types in what ever text in Label, leaving others blank. Create a layout for your particular label brand and a script that goes to that layout and prints. Not too hard for a simple solution. You can of course get much more technical with start and stop lines, clearing the text fields, but this is a quick and dirty method to get printing labels quickly.
