Hi All,

In a project i am working on, i plan to use the a UI_file (front end) linked

to DATA_file (back end) via the File Reference in FMP 7.

If i want to distribute my front end on many computers(let's say 6) and have them all access the data file.

Is there a way to "look" for the data file automatically?? or at least

open the File Reference menu if the file is not found on the local computer?

What would be great is to allow the user to point to where the software was installed,

have my project find the file it needs, then update the file reference so that next time the software knows to look at the new place.

Hope this is clear enough...
