stefangs Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 i've posted about this one before, but want to post again, since i now have more info on the issue. it looks like on windows xp you can't use the 'insert quicktime...' command in FM6 (either as a script step or menu item) to insert a sound, like a .aif or .wav. any attempt to do so crashes FM. you can verify this with a new file which only contains a container field. select the field, choose 'insert quicktime...' from the menu, and select a wave or aif file. FM will crash. i have quicktime 6.5.2 btw, doing the same on a windows 98 machine (or mac) works without a problem. am i the only one who's bothered by this?
