Importing MySQL timestamp into Filemaker Field

Featured Replies

I have finally found the Import via ODBC function - having been exporting from the MySql as text, then importing to FMPro! blush.gif

But: timestamp, which MySQL puts in the record as its creation date time in the format yyyymmddhhmmss, (which comes across to me fine if I use the export as text mentioned above) arrives in Filemaker as '0:00:00' no matter how I try.

Am I doing something really stupid here?

Thanks for that,

but it doesn't seem to be what I want. I don't actually get the timecode imported properly, it appears to be 0:00:00 in the field, not because it is formatted that way.

What is the type of the field that you're importing the timestamp into?

I've tried text and number, the same thing happens in both, as far as I can see...
