Hello smile.gif !

I am here again with my existencial problems with FM. I want one of my users to be able to define fields, but I don't want him to be able to delete any record ? Is it possible?

Thanks for all you help smile.gif

Only Full Access passwords can define fields. But those would also be able to edit and delete records.

You could design your layout to trap attempts at deletion (i.e., have a button for delete, scripted so that only a user you designate can delete a record). You would also have to modify the FM menus...But, frankly, these methods can all be defeated. Besides, why would you want to give up control of FM to a user?
