How to add page numbers on a layout.

Not using the ## text code, this result only in a pagenumber

I need to use pagenumber and total number of pages.

Create a global number field called gNum. In Layout Mode, enter Page ## of <<gNum>> where you want the result to appear. Then include the following in your report script:

Go to Layout [{your report layout}]

Enter Preview Mode [ ]

Go to Record/Request/Page [Last]

Set Field [gNum; Get(PageNumber)]

Go to Record/Request/Page [First]

You should then see Page 1 of 2 on the first page and Page 2 of 2 on the second, etc.
