Hi

I am trying to add a small graphic to a Container field.

I set the graphic format to "Reduce or Enlarge" or "Enlarge"

And the "Maintain origianl...." is not checked.

But the graphic do not expand to the total field it leaves a white edge to the right and at the buttom (it looks like it make some kind of blur to the color).

I have have used a color made inside FM and a graphic made in PhotoShop - the result is the same.

Can anyone help me so the graphic fill the field total with not white edge.

This sounds like your field is formatted as embossed or drop shadow. Highlight the field in layout mode, right-click on it, then choose None from the Effects menu.

This is a known bug and will occur even if no Effects are applied. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next rev.

Thank you both for yoru reply.

The field have no effect added so I guess it is the bug.

Do any one know how to work around it...

I have a text I want to hide behind another text.

text 1 is visible when in Find mode

text 2 is visible when in Browse mode

Any ideas will be a great help.

unfortunately, I don't think its possible in find mode. Why not make a new layout for users to perform a find rather than having them enter find mode? This way you can define what shows in the container (or Text field if the Text is the only thing you need to change) based on a calculation.

Attached is a file that changes the contents of a container based on what mode the user is in. Notice what you see in the container only changes in Browse and Preview mode frown.gif

Thanks for your input.

It is correct that you cannot set a content to a field in Find mode. I downloaded your file and this is almost the same solution as I have been working on.

I will make a new layout for the Find function.

Thanks for your idea and help,

Jens Peter
