portal to start at row other than first Ver 6?

I am still working in version 6 of Filemaker. I have a layout where I am working with a limited amount of space so I need to display the same portal in 2 columns, 5 rows displayed in each. I need the second column to start displaying data at row 6 thru row 10 . I know that in version 7 this is an option but I am not ready to upgrade this application yet. Dose anyone have any ideas how to do this?

You could create another relationship that only showed row 6 and on by using a count of the data in that relationship.
