Send mail won't work after reinstall

Featured Replies

I've been using an FM 7 send mail script with Outlook 2003 that worked fine. I replaced my hard drive and reinstalled everything. Now when I execute the send mail I get one of two errors; if Outlook is not running I get a message that says "Not implemented." If Outlook IS running I get a message "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. A program error occurred. Quit Outlook and Microsoft Windows then start again." When I press Esc to stop the script it crashes Filemaker with a buffer overrun. Any help appreciated. Tom Street

My guess is that the problem is in Outlook. Reinstall that, check that it is working properly, then try FM again.

Tried that and still no go. The only other thing that is different with this drive is that it is running XP Pro SP2. Previously I didn't install SP2. I have also tried it after turning off the Windows Firewall and my Virus software. Still no go. Grrrrr.....

Did a complete uninstall this time before reinstalling Outlook. Previously I just did a Repair. It seems to be working now. Thanks.
