ok so far ive gotten this Credit_lookup= GetField ( "Ref1" ) & GetField ( "Ref1 Copy" ) causeing the file to place the ref1 and the ref1 copy field next to each other on the same line, ive tried "ref1"

This should work as a calculation or auto enter calculation.
