Retaining field formatting when pasting text?

Hello,

I am hoping this is simple but I have not been able to find it. I I want to format my field so that when the user pastes text in to the field the field formatting overrides the text formatting. Right now, if I paste text in to a text field, the text retains the color and formatting from the original document.
