Exporting to a filename defined by a field?

I'm not very experienced with FM, so bear with me on this. I'd like to set up a button so that it automatically exports a picture from within a container field - but I want the filename is saves as to be defined by a field in the record. Is this even possible? I can't find any way to create variables of any kind when setting up a file path.

Strange and as frustrating as this must sound, you can only do this with a plugin (eg. Troi). Very stupid lack on FM's part. I have cursed this lack many times.

This is much more convenient with Troi, but it is possible to do it without a plug-in.

There is always a clunky way to accomplish it, but it SHOULD be something you can do within Filemaker on any platform
