Whenever I get emails from my mac in Entourage, I copy some of that info and paste into Filemaker. I have Filemaker set to be ay 9point Helvetica, but when you paste into any field, the formatting is lost and it stays at the formatting that it was from the email.

Is there anyway to force the formatting in FM, so that it is always Helvetica 9 point?

Yes, in FMP 6 use the Set Field to set the contents of the field back onto itself...

Set Field [ field, "field" ]

Alternatively try Option-Paste to invoke the "paste without style" command.

You can also hit the Option key when you paste Cmd V and it will paste with style.
