I was sent a clone of a .fp5 database, I would like to link that clone to my own Fm database files already set up, and be able to add/delete fields I have already set up. How? Thanks!

By clone, are you referring to a Standalone Solution, or a Kiosk Solution? If so, the only ones that can include Your files with it are the Author of that file, unless you have the Binding Code, and You have FMD.

If this isn't what you mean, please give us a little more to go on.
