Newbies msad39 Posted February 14, 2005 Newbies Posted February 14, 2005 I have a Win2003 running FMServer 7 Advanced... When Win clients login via a browser (IE6.x) then all is fine. But when users running OS X (IE 5.2) on iBooks attempt to login the browser displays and additional field, the field "domain" is listed??? And they can not login, what goes there? Thanks -Maurice
transpower Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Have you tried asking the OS X users to specify the domain of the Windows box?
Newbies msad39 Posted February 14, 2005 Author Newbies Posted February 14, 2005 The Win2003 server doesn't have a "real" domain, just an assigned public IP... The only reason this box is running is to host FMServer. We are a NetWare shop and don't use Win servers for user authentication or file storage. Is there a reason that when a Mac OSX user attempts to login via a browser (IE5.2) to the FMServer server they have the extra field in the login pop-up? Thanks -Maurice
transpower Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 You could make your Win2003 a domain server...
