I'm running Windows 2003, FMPro Server 7, Sequelink Client 5.4, MDAC 2.8.

I've setup a database for ODBC publishing by using the ODBC Data Source Administrator.

Filled in the server host = localhost, server port = 2399.

When I do a "Test Connect" I get the following Sequelink Error 2306.

"[DataDirect][ODBC Sequelink driver][sequelink Client]TCP/IP error, connection refused".

Has anyone else seen this error?

Do you have ODBC turned on for the Database you are trying to access? Do you have FM Server 7 Advanced or just FM Server 7? You need Advanced to hit the server with ODBC. If you have Advanced, do you have the latest updates installed for the server and for the ODBC driver?
