There are certain fields where it would be useful for Filemaker to offer already entered completions to a field, depending on what you have already entered. This would operate like the address field in OSX Mail or the URL address in IE, in which drop downs appear with URLs already in the cache to click on, depending on what you have typed. Can anyone outline how I would set this up in FMP 6 (Mac OSX)?

If I'm understanding your question correctly, it sounds like you are describing a Pop-up List attached to your field. (If you are not familiar with this, let us know)

Or maybe something a little more involved such as:

Typeahead (aka Clairvoyant). These two subjects have come up many times in the past, if you do a search for either of them, you should find plenty of information about them. If you can't find this information, or need help with them, let us know.
