Importing Excel ROWS

I am brand new to FM6 and I have run into an initial problem in importing an Excel spreadsheet where the info is in rows, not columns (the headings are to the left). When I go to import, I am not given this option. How can I get around this?

Can you use the Transpose function in Excel to flip the rows and columns?
