header in prview mode doesn't show

Featured Replies

Dear All,

I have desigend a layout/report as Table View. In layout mode I have inserted a logo into the header. Now I run my find script, everything works o.k. and all found records can be seen in the table but why doesn't my logo/header show up when I go to Preview or Browse mode??

What can I do do get the desired result and the header/logo shows above my table?

Thanks in advance,

Andy

Table view is limited in the amout of customisation you can make. You'll probably need to design a list view layout instead.

I actually found it out myself now: It's Layout Setup, choose the Views tab, check box table view and then click Properties, check box "include header part".

When I print it it doesn't look as nice as a table in word and also I can't really change the print layout much to center the entire table to the middle of the page. It's all jammed to the left side of the page.

... which is why you'll find few developers incorporating Table View layouts in their solutions.

Try to do this

CTRL+L/Layout setup/Views/Proporties/Include heder part(click)or Include footer part(click)

I'll think of a more attractive solution once I have more time at hand...
