Hi. I have my main table which is comprised of scenes. An intermediary table which contains characters and then the third table which has the notes for each character. I would like to create a portal in the Scene Form that shows the character's notes side by side instead of in rows, so the portal table would look like this:

Character1 Character2 Character3

Notes Notes Notes

This layout is important because the length of the notes varies and is often several lines long and I would like to be able to see the different characters in the scene on the screen at the same time.

Thank you for your help!

Portals in FMP 7 can be set up to display a range of related records. So you could have three portals, each displaying only one row (related record).

In which case, it's easier to just use the related field by itself. A one-row portal is equivalent to a single related field.
