How to make standalone app run in the background

Featured Replies

I have finally finished a standalone database requested by client. Client states that database is fine but it is loading too slow. I have cleaned up the code and configured it to run as fast as possible but yet the database still takes too much time loading.

I was wondering if one could configure the standalone app to run in the background. then when it was called by the user it would not have to load from the beginning thus saving time.

Could you have the standalone database be running open and running with a login or flash page that when clicked on gave the "feeling" that the user was just starting the database up?
