I have converted a set of files to Dev 7 from Pro6 and now when trying to delete a record I get an invalid relationship error message.

Is there a way to find out which relationship it is?

Check your Relationships Graph.

Been there. What designates a relationship as invalid?

If a key field can not be indexed the relationship will only work using that field as the primary key. This is indicated on the graph by a short vertical line next to the TO. If there is no related key field the relation line will go to the TO title rather than to a field.
