This is a simple question, so I hope someone can help me answer this quickly. When I do a find, how can I get the cursor to go to a certain field and make it as the default field for everytime you switch to a find mode in columnar list/report layout? I am sure this in the manual somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. I would greatly aprreciate it.

Never mind, I figured it out. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Two ways: change the TAB ORDER of the layout, make the desired field into "1."

Or, script the change into Find mode (make a button with "Find" that runs a script)

Enter Find Mode []

Go to Field [select, fieldname]

You'll have to train the users to use the button not the menu or keyboard shortcut.
