File host on FMP 5 Server Question

Featured Replies

We hosted FMP5 file on the server, as per my understanding, those database has been opened by FMP5 server otherwise user cannot see those files on their workstation. Whenever user open a hosted file, on the server event log, it said xxxx.fp5 was opened by username. Does it normal? Or I mis-config the FMP5 server and make this thing happen?

The server event log will show which files every user opens, closes, or gets disconnected. The log will also show when files are paused for cache flushes and backups, and when the files are resumed for writes.
