I upgraded to FileMaker Pro 7 from 6 and now some portals aren't showing information in Preview Mode and aren't printing (though I can view the information in Browse Mode), and also there are pages of blank space between the portals. The portals have repeating fields and I think that the database is leaving space for if all the portal's repetitions were needed even when only a few of the repetitions are needed. Selecting Sliding Up didn't help. This all worked fine in all previous versions of FileMaker Pro. Please help!

did you re-check your relationships after you ungraded your files to 7?

The relationships are still in place and correct since upgrading to FileMaker Pro 7.

But no records appear for certain portals and there is all that blank space no matter what in Preview Mode and when printing.

I've had this same problem - I think it has something to do with the page breaks (visible in layout mode). When the portal "straddles" a page break, it seems to disappear in layout mode. Any suggestions anyone?
