overrider Posted March 12, 2005 Author Posted March 12, 2005 Hello all, somebody has asked a smiliar Question before but i guess he was misunderstood so it was left unanswered. I am managing all my Accounts via Scripts in my Employee File. I have multiple files and i dont want to setup Accounts in every File. Can i make Filemaker use the Accounts in my Accounts Table from my Employee File or is this not possible? regards, Overrider

overrider Posted March 12, 2005 Author Posted March 12, 2005 Ok, seems somebody already answered my Question. Looks like if you want to do what i want to do you must write Scripts which basically handle the setup for all Files from the Employee File. If i add one Account in the Employee File, it adds it automatically in all other Files. I dont like that way somehow...

Reed Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 If you have to use multiple files, the best way to centralize account management is to use external authentication. You need to be using filemaker server for that though.
