March 14, 200520 yr Try a syntax like this on your shortcut: fmp7://10.20.30.40/FileName.fp7 The "10.20.30.40" in the example is the IP address of your server.

March 14, 200520 yr If you want a shortcut to open up a specific hosted database on a server instead of allowing the user to select from a list of hosted databases, a better solution is to create a opener file. Do a search on the forum for the thread on this. I use it for my clients and it is completely seemless.
