Hi

I have a database of companies details (name, address, etc...). Each company record has their profession name listed (i.e. Builders, plumbers, etc...). What I would like to do is be able to email any new companies showing a list (Company name only) of the existing companies within their profession on the email (i.e. Hi Mr Blogs, please be aware that we are currently offering our service to the following compaines within your profession: Blah Ltd, HoHum PLC, etc..). Incidentally, the list should only show companies within that profession who have had a "Yes/No" radio button checked "Yes".

The email is plain text so no formatting required (although any tips provided would be noted as this plain text method may change in the future) although we will have occurances where the resulting information will be within a sentence and also displayed as a list.

I am not a FM poweruser, been using it for years so know my way around but my programming skills leave a lot to be desired! So please be gentle with your answers

Note: I placed this in the Portal section as I have managed to get the required info to display in a portal but cannot work out how to display this in an email. My portal method has a twist tho (i think!) - as the relation is based on the Profession field, which obviously shows the current records company name in the portal as well, not good, I had to do this: profession field related to profession field > result to display company name > this is shown in the "Result" field which has a simple calc where by this is only populated if a radio button is checked as "Yes" > The portal is showing the "Result" field using the profession relationship. As I said I'm not a programmer but this did get the desired result of showing all companies within a certain profession who have had their checkbox ticked "yes" and so left out the current record/new company's name as I could just check it as "No".

Thank you for taking the time, appreciate any help!
