Salesman0Gil Posted March 18, 2005 Author Posted March 18, 2005 I think I narrowed it down to the user name and password for the Web Publishing Engine. Which I set. For a test I changed the user name, no problems. Went to change password, problems Went to try and change the user name back, problems

rob777 Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Hello Salesman0Gil, I sent in the logs for WPE and IIS to Filemaker tech support as they asked me to. Salesman0Gil Posted March 18, 2005 Author Posted March 18, 2005 These are the main things I see: Publishing Engine Configuration: Authenticate Publishing Engine Access The Publishing Engine user name or password is not valid. Is the "Publishing Engine" the Filemaker Engine, or my secondary Web Engine??

rob777 Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 We are using IIS version 5 on Win2k. The Publishing engine is the Web portion of the advanced FM server product. The FM server is a separate component, then you have the FM application (databases), and then of course there is a web server.
