Unmodifyable file after webpublishing with FMSA

Featured Replies

I have a FM7 file that I have successfully published using FMSA 7.03 on a Mac running OS X.3.8.

I need to change things in the file, but when I log in remotely, it is not accepting the original user/pw I set up (before webpublishing), and opens with the guest settings/permissions when opened locally.

The Os X file privileges are Owner = fmserver (R/W), Group = fmsadmin (R/W).

How am I supposed to edit the file, and how do I get around the automatic local guest login, since right now, the file can't be changed?

After you have selected the file in Open or Open Remote..., press the option key when you click on the "Open" button in the file dialog. This should bring up the account/password dialog.

For Windows it's the Shift key.

Yes, it's an RTFM issue smirk.gif

You can find somewhere it in the Help, "Opening files", under "Notes and Tips".
