March 22, 200520 yr Hello all... I have recently converted and filemaker 5.5 file to filemaker 7.0. I have a field that points to a URL that a script opens in a web browser. Since the upgrade my URLs are not working. It appears that filemaker 7 is putting an extra / in the url that is in my file. My record contains the following data: http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?Pyt=Tma...Get+Map=Get+Map When the web browser opens the URL in the address bar is: http://maps.yahoo.com//py/maps.py?Pyt=Tm...Get+Map=Get+Map Notice the // after yahoo.com, that is not in my record in filemaker. Does anyone know how I can get around this, or if this is a bug with the URL function in Filemaker 7??: Thanks Garry
March 22, 200520 yr Garry, Do a search on the forums here. This problem has had a lot of discussion. Also, you might consider using Google maps (http://maps.google.com/); its much nicer than Yahoo.
