I am very new to FM & databases. I have been playing around with the Purchase Order Template that came with FM 7. There is only one table in this template. In the Supplier field after I enter the Supplier information once, How can I get the street address, city & state to populate the field the next time I enter the Suppliers Name (in a new record)? Do I need another table to do this or can it be done with only one table.

You need to create a second table for suppliers where you keep the supplier info: Supplier ID#, Name, address etc. and relate it to the main table. Enter the Supplier ID in a Supplier ID field in the main table, and you now have access to all the supplier info which can be displayed on the main layout.
