Runtime Import

Hi,

I am new to the runtime process. Can you import filemaker data into a runtime version?

I created a runtime out of a clone of my solution for test purposes. (The data filled version is very large and took too long. I then tried to import the data into it and it told me it couldn't.

Is there something I did wrong or is it just not allowed?

As a test, I just imported records into a runtime with no problem. A couple points that you have to remember:

1) you have to be on a layout associated with the table that you want to import into

2) account permissions - what permissions does your original file allow for exporting?
