Go To Related Record (Show Only Related) Questions

Featured Replies

I am upgrading an exising DB to FM 7.03 from FM 6. I have found that some of my Go to Related Reocord (Show only related records) no longer work. In FM 6 if no related files were present I would have a found count of zero in the related file. In FM 7.03 (mac) I am finding that if the relationship does not have any related records, it is returning all records! I have checked to make sure the match fields are both indexed and of the same field type... any sugguestions?

This is a change in the behavior of Go to Related Records[]. You should now test for the presence of related records before the Go to Related Records[] step.

If [ isempty(Relationship::RecordsID) ]

#No related records

Else

Go to Related Records [ Show only related records; Relationship ]

...

End If

  • Author

Thanks, that works great.

I added a 'not' to read better for me...

if ( not IsEmpty ( Relationship::One ))

Go to Related (show only related)

do script stuff

end if
