Importing a number with zero as a leading digit

I have a field defined as text that contains 2 digit numbers 00 through 09. When I try to import these numbers into another FM file the leading zero is always removed. How do I import the 2 digit numbers including the leading zeros.

The field you are importing to need's to be a text result also.

FileMaker will automatically remove the extra zeros (lead and trailing) in calculations, etc. if the field result is a Number.
